Kagari felt stiff, she couldn't really understand why, but when she cracked her eyes open she was laying flat on the ground. She didn't know how it had happened, what had happened even, but she definately wasn't at the shrine anymore. She sat up slowly, her scythe was only a few feet away. It came back to her somewhat- she'd been polishing the blades outside. She stood, stretching, and hefted it into the air before taking a moment to look around. Nothing was familiar.

Suddenly a blueish creature appeared neat Kagari, shining crystal like eyes looking right at her. The creature smirked as it approached her.

Kagari stood warily, scythe held in her hand defensively, though not threateningly, "Who- what are you, what do you want?" She demanded to know.

"Mateus, and you will come with me," the creature said coldly as he continued to approache Kagari.

"Hell if I will." Kagari burst out, "What makes you think I'd go anywhere with the likes of you?"

Mateus smirked and chuckled. "If you resist you will die."

"Don't feed me that crap." Kagari said, lifting her scythe, "You think you're dealing with some worthless little whelp? I've got news for you, you don't scare me."

Mateus grinned as a spear of ice formed in his hand. "We'll see about that."

"Yes, I suppose we will have to see." She brushed a strand of her dark hair behind her ear before taking a firm grip upon her scythe.

"Come girl," Mateus said smirking.

"I got no qualms." Kagari responded, moving quickly towards him, her scythe towards the ground, as she drew closer she swung it upwards at his torso.

Mateus nearly fell back and glared at Kagari. "You're good.."

Kagari moved towards him, quicker than before, "I've had time for practice." She said, swinging the scythe again.

Mateus didn't have time to dodge and looked at Kagari, smirking as his body became liquid and was absorb by the ground.

Kagari looked around, "Is that it..." She mused to herself as she straightened.

"I suppose that I should start moving... I'd rather that thing didn't come back." Kagari began walking, one hand gripped to the shaft of her scythe.

Kagari kept her gaze to the horizon, though she looked back occasionally to make sure that she was, indeed, alone and out of trouble. That's how she missed when solid ground ended and open air began. In the blink of an eye she was falling into a deep crevice. She let out a startled yell and dug the blades to her scythe in solid rock, panting as she struggled to calm her pounding heart.

Elyra winced slightly as she opened her eyes and lifted herself off the ground. Her onix black eyes looked around and frowned when she didn't recognize a thing around her. She placed a clawed hand to her forehead and sighed as her headache slowly went away.

Out of nowhere, lightning began striking violently around Elyra as it slowly formed into a bright glowing entity holding it's hand toward her, "You will come with me...."

Elyra's eyes widened as she looked at the entity, backing away slowly. "No way!" she yelled.

He frowned clenching his hand into a fist as lightning tore through the ground towards her, "I am Vidofnir...you will come with me...or die.."

Elyra moved out of the lightning's way with cat-like reflexes and stared at Vidofnir. "I'm not going anywhere with the likes of you, and I'm definately not about to die either." she growled.

"Then prepare yourself..." Vidofnir cackled walking towards her holding his hands out as lightning began striking all around closing in to her.

Elyra continued to dodge the attacks and gritted her teeth, her eyes glued on her opponent as she did. "Is that all you got?"

He smiled as a bright aura incircled him and dicipated leaving him completelysolid now, "You'll soon see what I can do..." he muttered as a lightning blade formed in his hand and he lunged at her.

Elyra quickly jumped out of the way and landed crouched down slightly like a cat and her cat ears folded back slightly, from anger.

He turned quickly bringing his crackling blade down towards her again, "You can't run forever girl.."

"You could be surprised," She said and dodged the sword. "You're too slow anyways."

"You're not faster than a lightning bolt..." He sneeredspinning rapidly bringing is blade to her torso.

Elyra chuckled softly and grinned at Vidofnir, throwing a barrage of daggers at him. "Die!" she screamed.

Vidofnir turned to dodge them, bringing his blade up, but not in time as he was impaled by several and vanished with a loud crackle.

Elyra stood straight and blinked. "Is that all?" she asked herself and then heard an explosion. "What now?" she sighed and headed towards where the sound came from.

Kurai stood slowly holding his head still in a daze from what had happened. As he looked around, he didn't recognize anything and began stiding through the barren wasteland he had appeared in hoping to find something he found familiar.

The ground beneath his feet rumbled, and before him a creature rose from the earth, clad in what appeared to be stone armor. Black eyes gazed out of a stoney face, peering at him with malice, "Come without fight." It said in a grinding voice.

Kurai reached behind him drawing his daggers quickly, "Who are you...and what do you want!" he demanded twirrling his blades in his grasp.

"Dirk... You come or die." Its gravelly voice repeated, approaching him.

"Like hell.." Kurai growled backing up slightly, "Leave at
once...unless you want to die.."

Dirk gurgled, a feeble attempt at laughter, and lunged at Kurai, "You come or die!"

Kurai lept over Dirk kicking the back of his head as he did, "You'll have to do better than that..." he hissed angrily.

Dirk stumbled slightly and turned slowly to face Kurai. He threw several boulders at him- all of which formed in his grasp.

Kurai lept around dodging the boulders and kicking off the last one towards Dirk with blinding speed, "die..." he whispered shoving a dagger through the bottom of his chin.

Dirk made a funny noise in the back of his throat and stumbled backwards, "Little fool..." He gurgled, "Taking my life only endangers yours further!" His body seemed to glow before exploding into thousands of tiny rock fragments.

Kurai held firm to his dagger holding them and his arms infront of his face protectively as he lept back trying to avoid the shards of stone.

Kurai looked up resheathing his daggers as a loud crackling sound almost like lightning was heard, "I wonder what that was..." he muttered walking towards it dripping blood as his cuts began to heal.

Elyra slowed down slightly and frowned when she noticed a shattered piece of rock planted in a tree. "What the heck happened here?" she asked more herself, not noticing that Kurai was close by.

Kurai turned quickly baring his fangs, "who's there!" he growled not in the mood for another fight.

Elyra jumped slightly and looked at Kurai. "Who...who are you?" she asked as her ears folded back as she heard someone screaming, she frowned slightly and darted off in the direction the screams were coming from.

Kurai flinched at the shreik before following and dashing by Elyra, "who's there...are you injured?" he yelled looking around with his inhanced vision.

"You're not another one of those monsters, are you?" Kagari's voice sounded from below them.

Elyra looked at Kurai and then down into the hole. "Need help getting out of there?" she asked.

"One of those monsters....you faught one too?" Kurai asked climbing down into the crevace digging his claws into the stone as he decended.

Kagari's gaze followed his movements, "What do you mean me too?" She said, "I woke up in this weird place, then some weird elemental bastard decided to attack."

Elyra knelt down and watched their movements. "The same thing happened to me," she said.

"Me too...damn bastard exploded nearly finishing me..." Kurai grumbled as he stopped beside her, "climb on...I'll get your scythe..."

"I can handle the scythe." Kagari said, "Sorry, but I don't trust anyone else with it."

Elyra's ears twitched and frowned. "Hurry up you two, I don't like this place."

Kurai nodded, "I understand...be careful about my daggers..." he muttered digging his hand back into the wall to steady himself, "now climb on..."

Kagari frowned and sighed, "Fine." She said, shifting herself over to him.

Elyra looked down into the hole and leaned closer to help them out.

Kurai shifted slightly, "now pull out your scythe.." he mumbled as his claws dug in deeper.

Kagari ripped the blades from the stone and heaved the scythe over her shoulder.

Kurai grumbled slightly, "how heavy is that damn thing..." me asked leaping from the crevace and landing beside Elyra.

Elyra looked at Kurai, jumping away slightly. "I'd guess pretty heavy from how you're reacting," she said sitting on the ground.

"Heavy?" Kagari blinked and looked at the scythe, "Nah, it's not heavy... about 90 pounds I think..."

Elyra giggled softly and looked at Kagari. "My name's Elyra, what are yours?" she asked looking at both of them now.

"Name's Kagari... either of you have any idea where this is?" She questioned.

Elyra shrugged as she looked around and sighed. "I have no clue.." she said softly and looked at Kurai. "What about you?"

"No idea....but I've never seen anything like it where I come from...that's for sure..." Kurai muttered

"Neither have I." Kagari admitted as well, "Where did you two come from anyway?"

"I came from....Tanreki...." Kurai whispered, "i'm guessing its another planet around here..."

"Yes, it does appear that somehow we've been transported between worlds, doesn't it?" Kagari said slowly, thoughtfully, "Guess it's no use worrying about how we got here.... More rather, I think we'd best worry how we're going to get back to our seperate worlds."

Loki was near an old thick tree, sharpening her small dagger. She sighed softly, bored out of her mind.

The air around her grew hot and seemed to shimmer as flames sprouted up from the ground, forming a creature whose appearance was unsteady- rippling as though by fire, "You will come with me or die." It said slowly.

Loki smirked. "And what if I choose not to?"

"You will burn." It replied, laughing darkly, "You will die."

Loki sighed. "Well, if I do go with you, where will I go?" she smiled.

"You will be going to serve my master." Was the reply.

"Hmm, hell, what do I have to loose...? Its not like I have anything better to do." Loki shrugged.

"Good, Master will be pleased."

Loki shrugged and smiled, standing up. "Shall we?"

It nodded blandly, "Soon, the planets will align and the passageway will open once more."

"It's time." The fire being stood and indicated a shimmering shadow nearby, opening into a dark portal.

Loki nodded and walked into it.

As the being followed, the portal closed behind them.

Loki looked around to find her bearings, but was being aware of the being behind her.

Daraku sat in an elegantly carved chair at the head of a long, polished table, "Netsui..." He addressed the fire being, "You are the only one to have succeeded this day." He said in a cool, dark voice, "And you my lady, I take it that you came quite willingly?"

Loki looked over at him and gave him a slight nod. "Indeed."

"Good." He grinned slightly, "If you'll wait a few moments, a room is being prepared for your stay."

Loki nodded and bowed.

"Have a seat if you will." He indicated one of the empty chairs surrounding the table, "I was expecting other company, sadly none of the others could make it."

Loki sat down. "So, exactly why have I been called here again?"

"To aid in a... revolution of sorts." Daraku replied evenly.

Loki nodded, thinking about it. "Hmm... I see..."

"Anything else you wish to know?" He questioned.

"Nope, I'm all set." Loki smiled.

"Good." Daraku smiled in return, "Good..." He repeated in a softer tone as a servant entered the room.

"The room is prepared." Daraku nodded.

"If you wish, you may retire to your quarters."

"Alright. Thank you." Loki smiled softly as she followed the servant to her room.

Netsujo stretched tiredly, his brothers were still sleeping. He didn't think anything odd for a moment before realization dawned on him, "Where... where are we?!" His voice echoed around him.

"I don't know...I went to look around while yall slept...some elemental creep attacked me...but I dispatched him fairly easily..." Rion whispered walking back up from behind, "I didn't see any wood for a fire or anything around though...just dirt and rocks...."

Slowly the other three woke. "How do you think we got here?" Netsujo questioned, "Nothing is familiar here..."

"We're not where we should be." Hyoban said slowly, sifting the dirt in his fingers, "This... This is a completely different world!"

"What're you talking about?" Koneko said in mild disbelief.

"He means... Something happened." Kireina said slowly, "We've been taken to a new world... Nothing around here is anything like I've ever seen."

Rion sighed, "I just said that...." he grumbled sitting down with the other four, "well none the less...just incase another monster comes around....we need to find some sort of shelter atleast..."

"They were still sleeping, remember." Netsujo replied, "And I agree with Rion, we need to find some sort of shelter, and maybe start looking for any signs as to where we are."

Kireina nodded slowly in agreement with his younger brother, "We also need to hunt down some food, water, and maybe firewood from somewhere." He said, "We don't know how long we'll be here, we don't know why we're here, but the least we can do is make the best of our situation."

"There's nothing as far as I can see...I scouted around for miles and found no hint of life accept that wood elemental...we may be able to use his remains..." Rion suggested standing, "I'll show you where he was..."

"I think only one of us should go with you, Rion." Hyoban said, "And the rest of us should split up to find shelter, food, and water."

"I'll go with you, Rion." Koneko said.

Rion nodded as he started towards where he left the demon, "the damn thing just popped from the ground....when I finished it...vines shot all around...it was crazy...they almost cut me to ribbons..." he whispered, "the only reason I dodged it was because of our sparring matches...the weapon it used was similar to yours.."

"Interesting." Koneko said, "I would have liked to have had a go at it..." He grinned.

"You would have more trouble with me..." Rion replied laughing slightly, "here we are..." he muttered kicking a dried pile of wood, "hrm...it was almost green when I faught him..."

Koneko laughed, "Let's just get these remains back to the others and hope that they've found something of interest themselves."

"Yeah...maybe they found food...I'm starving..." Rion muttered as his stomach rumbled loudly, "see..."

"Oh, we can only hope." Koneko said, "We can only hope..."

Rion nodded picking up all the wood he could carry, "lets go.."

Koneko picked up the remainder of the wood, nodding, "Yes, let's." He murmured, leading the way back to where they'd left the others.

Hyoban was pacing, when he noticed them relief broke over his features, "Netsujo and Kireina were attacked by some of those weird elemental things you were talking about earlier, Rion. They found a cave and it was full of them! But there's no need for worry," He said quickly, noting Koneko's look, "They're find, we've got shelter in any case. Now, as to the worry for food, I haven't found anything... It doesn't appear that anything lives here, either that or the animals are hiding in fear..."

"Koneko...something happened with your brothers....but everything is fine..." Rion whispered, "looks as if you should have went with Netsujo and Kireina for some action..." he added with a soft chuckle.

Koneko frowned, "It's fine. I'm sure there'll be plenty of time for fun later." He said.

"Yeah...but atleast they found shelter..." Rion muttered opening his eyes and pointing off towards the cave they found, "that way.."

"I could have told you that." Koneko said, "My brothers' energy signatures are hard to miss."

"Not to mention, I'm here." Hyoban commented, "Let's get back to the others then, shall we?"

"Hello Hyoban..." Rion whispered smiling slightly, "I know they are hard to miss...but I'm sensing alot of powerful people just popping up all over...but it's faint...they are so far off..."

"Yes, there are quite a few." Hyoban agreed, "I don't know what's going on, but we can only assume it isn't anything good..."

"I suppose...but we should check some of them out just in case...if nothing else...we can get supplies if they are enemies" Rion replied.

Koneko shook his head, "I don't think that they'd know any more than we do." He said, "And do you think it wise to go find these people?"

Rion nodded, "I think so, because they may need help, I think that these demons were coming up against are guides to something else, maybe we should follow the next the comes. Or atleast find out why we were brought to this Desolate place.."

"I don't know." Hyoban said, "That in itself could be dangerous, we don't know what would happen. Certainly we were transported here, to a world upon which we can breathe and survive should the need arise, but what'll happen when we get transported somewhere dangerous? We'd have to discuss this as a group."

Loki walked into her room and looked around. "Not bad... better than sleeping outside on the ground..." she said, laying down on the bed and staring up at the ceiling. She got bored and sighed, jumping out the window and landing nimbly on the ground.

"But Nii-chan! I'm tired! I don't want to walk any further!" Screamed Selene from outside on the street.
Damion looked as though he was getting very frustrated. "Stop it now!" He yelled as his abs flexed more. "We need to keep walking to find an abandoned building."
"Can't we just go to a hotel?" Selene begged.
"With WHAT money?" Damion continued yelling.
"I don't know!" Selene screamed. She ran to a random tree and climbed up it. "I'm not coming down until you find me a place to sleep."
"Find YOU a place to sleep? I guess I'm jack shit then huh?" Damion got really angry and stomped away from his little sister.
Selene had her back turned so she didn't see Damion walk away. 5 minutes later she turned around and saw nobody. "Damion?" She asked quietly. "DAMION!!!!" She screamed loudly nearly shattering windows.

Selene jumped from the tree and ran to start banging on doors to find her brother. She was crying madly and her eyes were now bloodshot.

Loki looked up and saw her, walking over. "Are you alright?"

Selene jumped. "M-my brother! I lost him! He walked away!!!" She started crying. "H-have you seen him?"\

Loki shook her head "No, I'm sorry..."

"Ca-can u help me?" Selene asked.

Loki looked around the barren wasteland they were in. "Hell, why not?"

"Jeez, my senses are seriously muddled." Netsujo muttered tiredly, "Out to find food and I get myself lost, how does that happen here?" He wasn't in the wasteland anymore, he dimly recalled a strange ripple to the air before darkness had pooled in his vision, now he was somewhere completely different and had no idea where his brothers were- he couldn't sense them anywhere. He saw two women ahead then and approached them, "Excuse me," He murmured, "Do you know where we are?"

Loki shrugged. "Not really. But hey, its all good."

Selene sniffled. "He was yelling at me....and then he left... without a word." She tried explaining not realizing the new man had appeared.

Loki nodded. "Well, I'll help you find him if you want." she smiled softly.

"Who are you looking for?" Netsujo questioned.

Selene smiled back at Loki then looked at Netsujo. "M-my brother. Ha-have you seen him? He..." She frowned then looked back up at Netsujo. "He's hard to miss since he's shirtless."
