Well here i am again
Spewing out my life
My pain.
My hate.
My everything.
But yet you still don't listen.
Dead to me but alive for the world
And for this I owe you.
One life.
One scream.
One river of crimson.

To love is to lose.
To hate is to find.
But to lose and find one's self
is a greater feat of its own.

Dead to you
and dead to the world.
I cry alone in my war torn world.
My blood.
My pain.
My shame.
My never-ending torment.

clipped
never to fly again.
I step to the edge of the abyss.

Your lips rested lightly on mine
Your fingertips at the base of my jaw
Our eyes locked in an eternal embrace.
And you whispered so softly

"I Love You."

Instantly the winter in my heart turned to spring.
The chains that binded me
Came undone and fell to my feet.
The darkness that once clouded my eyes lifted.
And all i saw was you.

At that moment i knew i was
free.

The silence screams in my head.
I lay broken in the middle of a room
With no windows or walls.
Sealed off from the world
I writhe in my secret torment
Wishing you would save me just one last time.

Taking a deep breath,
Pulling myself together.
Still cracked
But mending.

I look ahead to my escape
To my hope
To what will save me.
Me.
As a door opens before me
I know now that I don't need you.
To save me.

The darkness starts to swallow me.
Down into its depths I start to disappear.
I'm shattering to pieces
And I hide it so well from you.
I want to reach out and tell you that im breaking.

To scream for you to save me
But will your glue keep me together?
Im not the best.
The prettiest.
The smartest.
Or the skinniest.
So why save me?
My mind screams at me.

Save me from the darkness.
Save me from myself.
Save me....

I am your discarded childhood.
I am the pain that courses through your veins.

I am the monster that hunts you in the night.
I am what scares you the most.
I am the demon
who holds you down letting you drown
under a wave of hopelessness.
I am your last breath.

I am your reaper.
I am your soul.
I am your tormentor
and lover.
