The book is written by Stephen King of course
It was copyrighted in 1986.
The movie was made only four years later in 1990.
The Ritual of Chud- you have to bite down on the monsters tong, while he tells you jokes, and you tell him jokes, the first on to laugh dies.
It is an excellent book and I highly recamend it! It makes the movie look so stupid when you compare them!

IT the book goes into more detail than the movie can, so if you are confused about anything that happens in the movie, read the book, it makes way more sence.
