The personal summon of the Third Hokage and King of the monkeys. He possesses great physical strength and fighting ability, and is fiercely loyal to Sarutobi. In addition, Enma is capable of transforming himself into a large staff as hard as diamond, as well as elongation at will. Enma was summoned during the battle with Orochimaru to even the odds against the deceased First and Second Hokage, now Orochimaru's minions due to Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei (Summoning: Impure World Resurrection).

Enma (and his weapon form) bears resemblance to Sun Wukong, the Monkey King of classical Chinese literature.
