Alright guys listen up.
It's come to my attention that no one i know (in real life) is using Elfpack anymore, and i suppose in a way it's a little sad because Elfpack a good site. But also i think in another way it's marking the end of an era. "Goth Crew" as we all know rarely get together anymore, and although this is no ones fault (mainly because now we all have different commitments) its undeniable that the cracks are definitely being put on show, and have been their for a while.
I was barely 16 when Goth Crew had its first very awesome party at Mathews house back in summer 2007. And now i'm almost 19, so you can see how time has flown. What i'm saying here is that if we can no longer hang around, or hold get together s anymore then we shouldn't really be that bothered by it, because a lot of circumstances have changed. But what shouldn't happen is just cutting contact with people all together, i'm pretty sure we're all agreed on that.
i hope i see you all down at open mic night or something in the near future, of course when it gets a bit warmer! I'll still be keeping my Elfpack profile even though i never really use it for anything much anymore, afterall Elfpack HAS been very quiet.

* a rockin band to front.
* at least $50 to buy booze and an illegal drug of your choice.
* a P.A. system, microphone, and big ol' speakers.
* an aire of badassness.
* a rumor spreading among your fans that you worship satan.
* a criminal record.
* tattoes.
* an enterage, and bodyguard.
* a record deal.
Sounds pretty simple huh

this coming friday, theres been plans outlined by me and a few others for a goth day out" in halifax or somewhere similar... this will probably include a trip to "Asia", and probably...
ANYWAY the idea is that we all dress up in our most gothic fineary, and walk the streets to passers by general amazement, if the usual numbers go then it'll make a pretty large group of totally gothed out misfits....
pretty cool i think. use the wiki to bandy some ideas around. (I think its time goth crew went out and did something as a group again eh?)
Ahhhhhh.... here I am, back again after taking a long and well deserved break from writing the elfpack diary. So "what's new?" i hear you all cry out in unison... then there's a pause. A long pause, one where possibly all the time in the world crawls by in a timeless (and very dreary) parade.
Nothing i reply (or type). Everything seems to have ground down to a halt somewhat in the last few months, (yes that means real life and elfpack). Somehow most things in general seem to have lost their "zing" factor. (By this i mean the sort of vague interest that accompany s activity's designed to kill boredom)... a long sigh escapes from my lips as i begin the familiar trip down nostalga lane, take a left at memory corner, as my mind clouds over into times past.
Remember in the 90s when everything was great?
We had wrestling, with actual decent wrestlers (you know, stone cold, the rock, undertaker and Kane) not these "pretenders" you see nowadays. Back then (in the 90s i mean) wrestling was a way of life, not just two greased up homos in tight red undies fighting for a title the means jack shit. Match outcomes could break your spirit (usually when triple H or kurt angle won) or make your day, nay week finish on a glorious high! (Probably when The Rock decided to "lay the smackdown" on some unpopular badass) ahhhh....those were the days.
Recently I’ve found myself casting back more often to times “lost in the winds”, I think its perhaps because life seems so generally “boring” right now, that the only thing left to do is focus on days when life was less mundane, less routine and overall more enjoyable.
God im bored, sat here, typing this online diary (something which no one will probably read) so instead of going on, and on

Absolutely gutted!
In Flames have just CANCELED their UK tour, which means I'll not being seeing them after all. Not only that but it means Hardcore Superstar won't be coming to England either (as they were supporting), hence I've just missed two of my favorite bands, and will probably not get another chance to see them again for another couple of years.
fucking sucks.
It was the perfect gig. On one hand In Flames: The band i listen to most frequently, and second favorite ever behind Mercenary. And Hardcore Superstar: The band that got me listening to metal.
unfortunately now i'll not being seeing anyone at a gig for ages. I didn't go to "Rise Against" because i couldnt afford both that and In Flames.
I was supposed to see Evile until i split up with my girlfriend. And Kamelot with meant to be a birthday treat from her as well.
MEANING
Out of 4 pre planned gigs, i'll now be attending 0 of them.
whay....aren't i lucky.

im frequently reminded (when looking at other elfpackers profiles) that alot of users, like som reeeeeealllly SUCK ASS bands.
i mean,, if its not my chemical romance (shudder) on one page,, its DJ shizerhousen on the other... lets be honets here people....WERE FACING AN EPIDEMIC OF IGNORANCE TO GOOD MUSIC!
(of course you guys being my elfpack friends, fall into the catagory of "good music lovers" so dont worry.. your safe.)
to help combat this problem i suggest, you tell everyone possible about the simply great bands, that are avavilable of sites such as myspace, last fm, and other peoples elfpacks (like mine of course)
after asking 10 people (in the silent study area to those of you familiar with sixth form) i was gutted yes GUTTED to learn that not one person knew who: Type o negative, queensryche, and L.A guns were.

does good music simply pass them by? do they sit contently whilst grinning idioticaly, listening to "fightstar" or "the kinks"

righto peeps.. just to clarify, i mean its been a long time since i wrote in my EP dairy,, so i just thought id give you all a treat, and update you on my current life.
firstly (and most importantly) all musical material from a certain artist known as james blunt, has been deleted from my music collection.. times have changed, and ive seen the error of my ways, frankly im surprised i couldn't recogonise sooner that james blunt is as interesting as tony blair dressed in the most sensible suit ever.
in contrast my favorite band has emerged as mercenary... c'mon good people, get listening! there a sort of "melodic death/ heavy metal" band,,, trust me its alllllllllllll
anyways having lost just over 2 stone in weight, ill be starting out for a new rugby team (halifax colts to be precise) on wednesday night. obivously this means i wont be playing my usual prop/hooker role, instead ill be going for the light and nippy back row position,
that just about covers things for now,,, all that remains for me to say is...

in sadder news now,,, (hehe that sounded like the start of a really important news bulletin didnt it?) my facial peircings..yes facial i didnt make a mistake (lip and eyebrow, for those of you who didnt know) have been pre sponed by yet another week... damit. So now i should in theory (all going well) be having them done sometime AFTER the 19th, and not a day before according to my parents. so i guess youll have to wait alittle while longer, before i can unveil them in an elfpack pic. hnmm least it gives me chance to decide what i want the rings and studs to look like.
