Beautiful Betrayal

Pray, what hath my heart inspired verse
You, aye you, keeper of stoic passion
Tumultuous, precise gypsy bade curse
Thou still my heart to keep from love undone
Forbid it thou love hold no potency
It doth burn my vision, my heart, my soul
Stricken devotion, cursed I am to be
Entrapped by affection, black and dark coal
Give in wilt I not as steady stand I
Withstand past the last I would to breathe
Break forth beyond the dark of acid lie
Sunset, fiery strands my anger to sheath
To look once more on face of beauty yourn
Betrtay my fight before thy temptful hand

My mind is my safe haven, my sanctuary. It's a place i can always go to get away. It is my best friend and my worst enemy. It's always there for me, but it twists my thoughts to doubt. Secrets locked and held away, sympathized and scrutinized. It understands and it scolds. It's a double edged blade and if not wielded well will cut the wielder, me. I never thought it able to be invaded so precisly and so quickly. Emptied and strewn to the feet of one person other than myself. Sought through and thoughts interpreted by another. Becareful who you confide in, regret may follow. Stay with your sword, double edged and carefully placed in you.

Bereave the beserk benighted belle. Benedict not the bestial, bilious blackguard but bestow blind barney on blushing, bonny blokes of the bold bolsterous bolero you bootless boon!

Yeah, um...got bored with a dictionary one night....??

The dark twisting mist of make believe, of dreams, races around my head as I lay in a half sleep. I cling to nothing and everything at once, pulling myself onward through the rough sands of fairytales. Colors dance around me in a burst then are drowned in the gray and black of the midnight stories swirling around my form.
