<img:stuff/divider.jpg>

Welcome to Elfpack!

Elfpack is a fun website were you can do lots of things.

What to do?

You can customize your own home page called your "house" with all of the information about yourself and your pictures and/or artwork. You can also look at other people's houses to find new friends or interesting people to talk to.

You can browse the wiki for subjects, information and people who interest you and talk to people with similar interests. To do that, click the link at the top of the screen that is called "wiki" and have a look around.

You can also create your own wiki pages on any subjects or topics you like, or to display your artwork, photos or writing.

Click the link called "Mainstuff" at the top of the screen and look in the upper left corner for lots of informative links like:

What is Elfpack?

and Elfpack's Funpack

There you will also see a link to Elfpack Contests where you can get involved with lots of Official Elfpack art, photo and writing contests.

2006-07-31 [zoloftzantac]: This is a good idea, I'll send people here in the future. Also we could expand on it a bit.

2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: Are there no pages similar to this already in existance? I seem to remember seeing them, but they might not have been for EP.... What else do you think needs mentioning? I know there are a lot of things that could be listed, but people could find them just a link away from here if they want to explore the links from this page

2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: *tries to think back to when she was a newbie and didn't know how the sites worked* well, I had a little trouble finding the help pages in the first place, regardless of their content, so I guess that is the priority :P

2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: And when I found a guide (I'm talking ET) I found there were too many links to keep me wandering from help page to help page.... it should be concise, but still informative enough not to need to keep clicking everywhere and getting lost :)

2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: If I would have known how to make and use bookmarks I wouldn't have had the problem, so if you're looking to create an extensive guide with relevant links to all over EP you should touch on bookmarking the page (in the browser or the EP feature) to make sure people can get back to this page without getting too lost in the process ;)

2006-08-01 [zoloftzantac]: Well, really the help page has all of the same info. I'll save typing in the future by sending newbie here tho :D

2006-08-02 [kittykittykitty]: Yar :D A newbie tour is always needed! So you think it is complete?

2006-08-02 [zoloftzantac]: I'm not sure, it is mostly done. I think it should tell people how to help themselves instead of having too many links all over the place.

2006-08-09 [kittykittykitty]: Definitely :D I'll add it to the contractors page and hope it can be made official ^_^

2006-08-10 [zoloftzantac]: mkay

2006-08-11 [kittykittykitty]: mmmkay! ^__^

2007-03-23 [zoloftzantac]: you said I wrote it :p I think we must have co-wrote it, the word "indeed" isn't in my vocabulary ;)
(I think it is a EU word or something)

2007-03-23 [kittykittykitty]: Haha... that's funny :P Co-wrote then.... as you have never edited this page :P
