Arthur becomes friends with Merlin, despite being his master, and the pair have saved one another's lives on numerous occasions. He is in love with Guinevere but can not be with her because it is not proper that the future king to marry a maid. So Arther stays away from Guinevere all the time and never talks to her.

Merlin was born with a strange power that enables him to slow down the movement of time, both mentally and physically, and move objects to wherever he wishes with his mind.According to The Great Dragon, Merlin's birth has been prophesied by many cultures. For example the Druids refer to him as "Emrys" (Meaning "Immortal"), and it is the name Mordred calls him by.The Dragon states that it is Merlin's destiny to protect Arthur Pendragon, aid him in uniting the kingdoms of Albion and return magic to land.He is also Arthur's servant and friend, despite the initial animosity between the two.

History- Nimueh was once the personal witch of the Pendragon family, and was called upon to help Uther's queen conceive. She was forced to let Arthur's mother die in childbirth in order to protect the balance of life and death. As a result Uther banished her from Camelot, banned magic from the kingdom and swore to execute all those caught using sorcery. It is suggested that Nimueh's beautiful features are an illusion brought about by her powerful magic; she can change her appearance at will looking no older than the 21-year-old Arthur despite having been in service to his family long before his birth. Nimueh is working with Alvar and Mordred to free Camelot from Uther's hands and to bring back magic to the lands.

History- Alvar is the leader of the Druids who are rogue sorcerer and sorceress. He was only a young boy when Uther waged war on magic, wipping out almost all sorcerer and sorceress which in caused a lot of families to lost there family members. Alvar made an oath to kill Uther at any cost but he has the help of Nimueh and Mordred and maybe the Lady Morgana.

History- His master is executed on Uther's orders but Morgana and Merlin protect the little boy. Morgana claims to feel an inexplicable link with the boy which drives her to keep him safe. The Great Dragon later tells Merlin that Mordred will one day kill Arthur. Mordred is telepathic and calls Merlin "Emrys", claiming he knows who Merlin is and that they are "the same". Despite the dragon warning Merlin not to save Mordred, Merlin eventually helps Arthur to escape with the boy and return him to the Druids. He returns again when Morgana goes in search of the Druids. By way of her telepathic connection to Mordred, he is able to sense that she has been bitten by a scorpion and needs medical help. It is also shown that Mordred's magic is powerful enough to kill four or five armed soldiers with a single spell, and Merlin, who was also present, appears to show concern over this. He is one evil little boy! But he loves Morgana like a sister
