Event Photo Competition

This is the 2008 version of Photoalbum Competition and Photoalbum Competition II

This is a competition for you that has a good set of photos of an event. The event can be a party, a trip to Disneyland, a concert or anything that interests a lot of people.

New for this year is that you can make the wiki-page in any way you want and it can be a set of wiki-pages too. But the page must be exported.

§1 Main rule: Submit a link to wiki-page with photos. It may be many pages linked to each other or just one page. It should be well commented and all pictures on it should be uploaded to Elfpack.

It's simply to upload loads of high resolution pictures to Elfpack:
1) Go to your house.
2) Press "Upload a folder of images".
3) Select a name for the wiki-page and then you upload a ZIP-file (See How to create a zip-file). I, [Hedda], upload up to 160 images per page because I'm too lazy to divide them, but that is really too much so I suggest that you put a little fewer images per page, but you're free to do as you want.
4) Write a lot of comments on the photos.
5) Submit the page and then write the link to the wiki-page under Your submissions below.

§2 It has to be your photos!

§3 The page should be exported and possible for non logged in people to comment. If someone is spaming the comments, you are allowed to (and should!) turn the comments for the non logged in users off.

§4 You may let others help you with adding photos or comments, but the ones helping you are just helping you. This isn't a team-competition, but you're free to give them credits of course.

§5 Deadline is on the 15th of November 2008 (Lots of time!)

§6 Ask questions by doing a comment to this wiki-page. The competition boss for this competition is [Hedda].

§7 The prize will be donor-privileges (see <URL:donate.html>) for you or to give away and maybe something extra.

Please don't re-use old wiki-pages and photos you have on Elfpack. This isn't a rule, but new photos are preferred! Pages who have competed in other contests and especially in Photoalbum Competition and Photoalbum Competition II are of course not welcome.

§8 Submission guidelines:
You may only submit one entry, and you have to replace your old one if you want to submit photos from another event. It must be a wiki-page about an event, but it can have subpages. It's allowed to (and should) link to other pages (Like your "My other photos" page) but only the wiki-pages about the event is considered to be a part of the contest.
Select a simple (but not too simple) name for your wiki-page. If the page-name has spaces and many words in it, it's hard to post a link to it on other sites. "DisneylandTrip" or "Disneyland2008" are therefore better names than "My Disneyland trip", but "Disneyland" is a very bad name as it collide with a potential future page about Disneyland.

§8 How to win: You can win i two ways!
There will be one Mainstuff poll and that will give one winner.
The page that is attracting the most non-Elfpackers will be the other winner. So post links to your photos (to the exported page) everywhere!
(The same page can win both prizes.)
